Terms of Use
Effective 29 July 2026
The service
CiteRight is a writing-similarity check and citation tool. It checks your text against sources it has access to and helps you build citations — it does not guarantee your work is free of unintentional overlap, and its output should always be reviewed before you submit your work.
Your account
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Let us know at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Purchases and subscriptions
CiteRight Pro (€4.99/month or €39.99/year) is an auto-renewing subscription billed through the Google Play or Apple App Store account you subscribed with. Manage or cancel it any time from that store's subscription settings — cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
Acceptable use
Use CiteRight only for its intended purpose and only with content you have the right to submit. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to generate content that's illegal, infringing, or abusive.
Disclaimer
CiteRight is provided "as is." AI-generated output can be inaccurate or incomplete, and should be reviewed before you rely on it. To the extent permitted by law, Deplyra disclaims warranties of any kind and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms or the app from time to time; material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings.
