Rooftree: a tenancy record neither side can rewrite
Rooftree is one record of a tenancy that both the landlord and the tenant can see. Rent paid, repairs raised, certificate dates, and messages, all in the same list, in the same order, for both of them.
Its one structural rule is that an entry is never edited away. If something is wrong you add a correction, and the original stays visible underneath it. A dispute becomes a permanent row rather than a deletion. That is what makes the record worth anything later, and it is also the honest limit on what deleting your account can do.
Where it stands
In development and internal testing. Its backend is live. Not yet available in the app stores; when it ships, the store links will appear on this page.
One list, both parties
When both sides hold an account they see identical entries. There is no landlord view and tenant view that quietly differ.
Corrections append, never overwrite
The database itself refuses to change or remove a ledger row. A fix is a new entry that sits above the old one.
Disagreement is recorded, not resolved
Either party can dispute a payment figure and give their own number. Rooftree records both and decides nothing.
Certificate dates and a PDF
Gas, electrical and energy certificate dates with their references, and an export built on your phone for a deposit case.
A ledger entry cannot be edited or deleted through the app by either party, or by Deplyra. The database rejects the attempt.
Rooftree never contacts the other party for you. It sends no push notification, no email and no text message, so nothing about your tenancy is disclosed by us to anyone.
Want in before the stores?
We invite a small group of early testers per app. If you would use Rooftree for real, tell us below and we will set you up when the next test round opens.
Rooftree is one of the apps in the Deplyra portfolio. It is designed, built and run by the same team you can hire: mobile app development is what this app is proof of.
