Dead Giveaway: one murder a day, entirely fictional
Every day, one new case: a fictional murder, a scene to search, five suspects to question, and one contradiction that gives the killer away. Read the file, work the evidence board, make the accusation.
The design has two firm rules. Every case is solvable without hints and without spending anything, so paying is a convenience and never the answer key. And every case, city, victim and suspect is fictional by construction: cases are written to genre templates and never based on any real crime or real person.
Where it stands
In development and internal testing. Not yet available in the app stores; when it ships, the store links will appear on this page.
A new case every day
The same daily case for every player, so the puzzle is shared.
Solvable without paying
Hints exist, but no case requires them and none requires payment to solve.
Evidence board and interrogations
Search the scene, pin statements against evidence, and catch the lie.
No account, no sign-up
An anonymous player number is all the game knows. It never asks who you are.
Every case is fictional and never based on, or intended to resemble, any real crime or real person.
There is no account. Progress is tied to an anonymous player number, and uninstalling ends the association.

Dead Giveaway is one of the apps in the Deplyra portfolio. It is designed, built and run by the same team you can hire: mobile app development is what this app is proof of.
