Keysa: the state of the place, recorded on the day
Keysa is for the renter who wants the argument about the deposit to be short. You walk the property room by room when you move in, photograph what is already worn or broken, and note it.
At move-out you walk it again and the app puts the two side by side. The point is to have the record before anyone needs it.
Where it stands
In development. The Keysa server is not deployed, so the current build records to the phone and cannot sync, share or back up. Not in the app stores, and not being submitted while that is true.

One pass through the property, photographing each room, with condition notes as you go.
An issue log over the tenancy
Log a problem when it happens and follow it up, so the history is written down as it goes rather than reconstructed later.
Move-out comparison
The move-in and move-out passes shown together, pair by pair, so the difference is visible rather than argued.
Deposit deadlines on your phone
Reminders are scheduled by your own phone's clock and shown by your phone. Nothing is pushed from a server.
In this build there is no Keysa server, so the photographs, the address, the deposit details and your notes stay on your phone and are sent nowhere. That is the current state of the build, stated as a fact rather than offered as a guarantee.
Keysa's settings screen currently claims it removes location data from your photographs. It does not, and the privacy policy says so plainly while we fix it.
