Privacy Policy
Effective 18 August 2026
What this covers
This policy covers the website deplyra.com: the pages you are reading now. It was written by reading the site's own code and describing what it does, not by adapting a template, so it is short and it is specific.
Deplyra's applications handle data differently from this website and each one has its own policy at its own address, for example Scanly, Miraaj and NoteSnap. The Scanly web tools at scan.deplyra.com carry their own policy on that site. If you are looking for what an app does with your data, those pages are the right ones.
What this site does not do
deplyra.com runs no analytics, no advertising scripts and no tracking pixels. The site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to: we do not measure you, profile you, or follow you to other sites. If we ever add analytics, this page will say so before it happens, and the tool will be chosen so that this section stays almost as short as it is now.
What your browser does when you visit
The pages here are static files. Loading one involves the requests any website involves, and two that deserve naming:
Fonts. Some pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser fetches a font file, Google's servers see your IP address and browser details, as they do for any request made to them. No account information or page content is sent; it is a font file request.
The product list. Some pages fetch the current product catalogue from our own API at api.deplyra.com so that product statuses on this site match reality without a redeploy. That request carries no personal data beyond what any HTTP request carries.
Local storage. If you select services on the services pages, the selection is kept in your browser's local storage (a single entry named deplyra_request_v1) so it survives navigation. It stays on your device, is sent to us only if you submit the contact form, and clearing your browser storage removes it.
Server logs
Like effectively every web server, ours records standard connection data when you request a page: IP address, the URL requested, the time, and the browser's user-agent string. We use these logs to keep the site working and to investigate abuse, and for nothing else. They rotate away on a short schedule; we do not build profiles from them. deplyra.com is served through Cloudflare's network, so Cloudflare also processes this connection data as part of carrying the traffic, under its own privacy terms. The site itself is hosted on a server we operate in Nuremberg, Germany.
The contact and audit forms
If you write to us through the forms on this site (contact, free audit, or the calculator and scorecard email options), we receive exactly what you typed: your name, email address, company if you gave one, and your message. Here is the full path it takes:
The form posts to our own gateway at api.deplyra.com. The enquiry is recorded there first, so we can verify delivery, and is then emailed to [email protected] through our email provider, Resend, with reply-to set to your address. No third-party form service is involved.
We use what you sent to reply to you, and for nothing else. You are not added to any mailing list. We do not share or sell it. If your enquiry turns into a project, the correspondence becomes ordinary business records; if it does not, it simply sits in the mailbox and the log until deleted.
Your rights
Email help@deplyra.com and a person will deal with it. You can ask what we hold about you (for this website, that is at most your form submissions and the emails you sent us), ask for a copy, or ask for it to be deleted. Deletion requests are honoured unless a law requires us to keep something, and we will tell you plainly if one does. Depending on where you live, data-protection law (such as the GDPR) gives these rights formal names and deadlines; we honour them regardless of where you live.
Children
This site is a company website aimed at adults buying software and engineering services. It does not knowingly collect anything from children, and its forms have no reason to be used by them.
Changes
If the site's behaviour changes in a way that affects this page, the page changes with it and the effective date above moves. The history is public in the site's source repository.
