Delete Your Account

Effective 18 August 2026

Do not use the in-app delete control yet

Redy has a Delete account control, and it does not work as described. It marks the account for deletion and signs you out, and no part of the system ever acts on that mark, so nothing is deleted.

It is worse than doing nothing, because sign-in is then refused and nothing clears the mark. You are locked out permanently while the data stays. The app's claim that signing in again cancels the deletion is not true.

If you are a provider, there is no delete control in the provider screens at all.

The route that works

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask for deletion. A person removes it by hand and confirms it.

What we remove when you ask

Your account, name, email address and phone number; your saved addresses; your bookings, work log and evidence photographs; your reviews; your estimates; and, for a provider, your profile, your uploaded identity, licence and insurance documents, and the last four digits of your bank account.

What is kept, and why

Photographs you sent for a photo estimate were processed by OpenAI. We remove our copy; theirs is governed by their policy.
