Delete Your Account

Effective 18 August 2026

The in-app button does less than it says

Settings has a Delete account control. It marks the account deleted and signs you out everywhere. It does not remove your data, and the message telling you the data is gone within 30 days is not accurate today.

Deleting a wedding behaves the same way: it is marked deleted and nothing is removed.

For an actual deletion, email [email protected] from the address on your account. A person does it by hand and confirms it.

What we remove when you ask

Your account, your weddings and functions, the neondra and salami register with its history, your guest list and their phone numbers, commitments, contributions, expenses, vendors, gettogethers and playlists.

What we cannot remove, and we would rather say so

Owed-back markers. The database refuses to delete or alter them by design, for anyone including us. If you need one gone, write to us and we will tell you exactly what we managed and what we did not.

Nightly backups of the database, which are rotated over time rather than edited.

Trouble with any of this, or a request this page does not cover? Email [email protected]. It is a monitored mailbox and a person reads it. If you are named in someone else's register and want to know what is held about you, write to the same address.
