Delete Your Account

Effective 18 August 2026

How to delete your account

1. Open Rumi and sign in.

2. Go to the account screen.

3. Tap Delete account.

This deletes your Firebase account, which is the only account Rumi has. It is permanent.

Your conversations are not part of that, because they were never ours

Your chats, your notes and the model files are on your phone, in the app's private storage. Rumi has no server and no database, so there is nothing of yours on ours to delete.

Deleting the account leaves them in place. Uninstalling Rumi removes them.

What is kept, and why

Google holds whatever its own sign-in and advertising services record, under their own policies. Hugging Face holds its own server logs of model downloads, under theirs.
