Delete your account & data

Scanly is a document-scanner app operated by Deplyra. You can permanently delete your Scanly account and all associated data at any time, using either method below.

Option 1: delete it in the app (fastest)

Open Scanly and sign in.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and its server-side data are permanently deleted immediately.

Option 2: ask us to delete it

Send the request below from the email address on your Scanly account. We verify ownership and action the deletion within 30 days. You can also write to help@deplyra.com from your own mail app if you prefer.

Use the email address your Scanly account is registered to, so we can verify the request is yours.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in identity (email / Google / Apple).
Your profile and entitlement/subscription record.
Your usage history and app data on our servers.
Any documents you synced to the cloud (Pro).

Scans stored only on your device are removed when you delete them in the app or uninstall Scanly; they are never on our servers on the free plan.

What may be kept, and for how long

We may retain a minimal record of a purchase/transaction where the law requires it (for example, tax and accounting obligations), for the statutory retention period. Deleted data is also purged from encrypted backups on their normal rotation, within 30 days. Nothing retained is used to identify or contact you beyond those legal obligations.

Cancelling your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a Scanly Pro subscription. Manage or cancel it in your Google Play (or App Store) account, under Subscriptions.
